PERANTIM President Mr. Johari A Kasim delivered his talk entitled “Halal Medical Device – Catalyst To Malaysia Export”. during Global Halal Summit 2024 . His points, Inter-alia:
1. Halal Medical Devices Certification Schemes must be further empowered preferably to be one of accepted global certification scheme.
2. More emphasis on our Malaysia Halal Medical Devices Certification during FTAs, Reciprocal and Country to Country Harmonisation.
3. Encourage more innovation on Halal Medical products and promotes PPP on halal meddev
4. Strive to reduce cost of doing business especially for halal medical products
2025 will be Malaysia turn to sit on the ASEAN Chairmanship. It will be a good stating point for the empowerment of halal initiatives.
