PERANTIM is proud to be the Co-Organiser & Strategic Partner of IMDEC 2026, Malaysia’s premier International Medical Device Exhibition & Conference.
During the launch, an Exchange of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held between the Medical Device Authority (MDA) and Persatuan Pengilang-Pengilang Peranti Perubatan Malaysia (PERANTIM), represented by MDA CEO Dr Muralitharan Paramasua PERANTIM President, Tuan Haji Johari Abu Kasim.
Through this MoU, both parties reaffirm their shared commitment to:
Co-organise InnoMD: Innovation Pitching Powered by PERANTIM as a signature platform under IMDEC.
Promote medical device innovation start-ups through collaboration within the Regulatory Sandbox initiative by MDA.
Strengthen capability building and industry-academia-regulator collaboration to position Malaysia as a regional hub for safe, effective, and innovative medical devices that enhance healthcare outcomes.
InnoMD, which made its successful debut at IMDEC 2024, will continue as one of the key highlights of IMDEC 2026, empowering innovators to connect with investors, regulators, and manufacturers — driving Malaysia’s medical device innovation ecosystem forward.
