President & Group Executive Officer of SIRIM , YBhg Dato’ Indera Dr Ahmad Sabirin Arshad hosted the Industrial Dialogue entitled Driving The Nation Through Frontier Smart Manufacturing and Machinery Technologies. PERANTIM was represented by its President Mr Johari Abu Kasim and En Redziwan Saari CEO Ain Medicare SB.
Many issues were raised during the dialogue.
Malaysian Medical Devices Manufacturing industry is still being plagued by the EU upgrading issue and unavailability of local Notified Bodies and local Auditors. Our innovation ecosystem lacks support and there is no financing appetite for cross border financing.
